That's what I've been concerned about... lefty vs orthodox, both comming forward... I hate to see this fight stopped due to accidental headbutt.

Valero would make a very good sparring parner for Hatton... only because he has power and he's a lefty.

But skill wise?... good luck with that.

Might as well get Ivan Calderon for a spar mate too

nobody really fights like Pacquiao, so any hard punching southpaw is good.

Valero=Punching Power, thats about it. What good does that do for sparring when your wearing protective gear.

Pacquiao=Speed, Power, Head Movement, Foot Work, Later Movements, Combos.

Pacquiao and Valero two TOTALLY DIFFERENT fighters.

        Valero Rookie

        Good luck with that Hatton.

I won't be surprise if Valero knocks Hatton on their spaaring sessions...

How exactly does Valero help Hatton prepare for Manny when Valero is slow as ****in dirt??? their only similarity is that they are southpaws but their styles are so different timing wise that i dont see how it helps...

This idea will help Pacquiao more than it will help Hatton; I see Valero softening the Hitman up for Pacquiao.

Valero is not like Pacquiao from what I've seen.
