Prime Joe louis vs prime w.klitschko

Considering Joe Louis would have been much shorter and lighter than Wlad, I could see Joe losing. But, unlike most of today's heavyweights, he knows how to close the distance and properly cut the ring off.Comment

That's right, a lot of the heavyweights today still don't much up to the skill level of someone like Joe Louis especially considering how "advanced" boxing is these days. I think Joe would knock Wlad out. Louis was known for his efficient style, combined a steady forward movement, with an accurate two-fisted attack.Last edited by Boxingwizard; 02-15-2009, 12:55 AM.Comment

Are you really Emanuel Steward? A prime Evander would kick the crap out of Wlad though. As for Evander being too small, he still had a granite chin. Remember all the punhsiment he took against Rid**** Bowe in the first fight? Combined with his skill, Holyfield was great.Last edited by Boxingwizard; 02-15-2009, 12:53 AM.Comment

Froch? Carl Froch? The difference between Fraizer, Ali and Froch is that Ali and Fraizer can easily weigh around 220 pounds while Froch can't.Also I think Froch would outpoint Frazier or Ali in a close contest over 15 rounds. Yesteryear fighters are really small.
Not a lot of people realise this but the 'foot' was redefined in 1980 so when heights of Ali and Frazier are listed they are actually 30% less than what you may think because of this reclassification.
There's knowledge for you.Comment

wlad with his old agressiveness and his maturing in his skills of lately has more than a chance for sure.
im not the kind to believe in golden era of boxing type ****. that is the same thing everyone says about the fighters that made impressions on them when they were growing up.Comment

dude,,,,those super heavies hadnt an ounce of the ability and power of wlad. your ridiculous anti klit biasness never ceases to amaze meComment
-
size only means a lot if you have the ability to use it. grant had no amateur career and not even half the ability and experience of the klits. that was a poor analogyComment
