I think you're not the only one that knows how to beat Mayweather. I think there are a few guys out there that know how. Problem with that is Mayweather won't fight em'

    A) Because he's retired.

    B) He knows that they know.

I think to beat him, first off you'd need to be better than him in all (or almost all) physical attributes... speed, punching power, brute strength, reach. Not impossible.

You'd also require ring smarts so you don't end up stuck in Mayweather's rhythm

frankly i think drawing him into chasing you is not gonna work, as he wouldn't buy it... you'd have to be able to cut the ring off smartly and quickly

well then just stand there, and talk trash. He may be the smartest boxer but he is human, he will get angry.

The thing is, Mayweather has such accurate and fast punches that you'll be playing into his game. Not moving foreward means he'll pick you apart...he'll circle you then land a good jab to the body and back up...if you don't chase him he'll do the same thing over and over again and dominate you.

          It won't work.

But honestly Mayweather is sooooo beatable. The only problem is that he hasn't been fighting top notch competition except maybe De La Hoya...but Oscar gasses out making him NOT a pressure fighter...that makes him vulnerable to Floyd.

Zab Judah won the first 4 rounds against Mayweather then gassed out.

Gatti and Baldo don't count as opposition.

          JLC...ok that was a legit win IMO....Hatton wasn't

My point is that Mayweather is extremely beatable, but good lord he is just putting on a good illusion of invincibility...He hasn't fought any of the top notch welter weights like Cotto Mosley and Marg. And despite him NOT fighting the great welterweights of our time, there were instances where he still almost lost!

I think a lot of people see his unbeaten record and think he can't be beaten, but he can.

In the amateurs he had all sorts of issues going up against southpaws with jabs and lateral movement. The shoulder roll defense doesn't work against southpaw jabs, you have to block a right jab by keeping your gloves up and picking them off.

I think Mosley would beat him, he throws punches from all sorts of angles, has a hell of a chin and is pretty quick. He's also stronger than Mayweather. You can't throw punches from normal angles and beat Mayweather, you have to mix it up and punch when he doesn't expect you to punch.

The way Mayweather fought DLH, I could tell the strength difference made him uncomfortable. Mosley would be hell for him.

why does everyone think he is so god? calzaque deserves more credit than mayweather. mayweather even isn't that fast, i''ve see faster. All he does is run. run, run, run, run run......he is such a *****. The only fighter that i saw not go forward against him was castillo, and to me, he won that fight.

yeah i believe this to a certain extent.i think that if marquez was a bit bigger he could beat floyd. "sensation" is on the money as well as always.

wow, no. no one has better skills that pbf, period. not pressuring him will only make this extermely apparant and i dont see anyone taking more than a few rounds employing this misguided theory.

Name one Champion that fights off the ropes more than Mayweather??

You don't have to chase him..he camps-out on the corners and ropes ALL THE TIME..

Floyd is not the runner you haters make him out to be.
