We'll know if Margarito's plaster affected him in June, be it against Berto or Mosley. Now, if he does win the welterweight tournament, he will most likely climb to #2. Then, greedy Bob Arum will match Pacquiao against him at 147, just so the titles are on the line. If he defeats Manny, then he will climb to #1, hopefully luring "Money" out of retirement for another megafight. Cotto has several potential superfights in his future, if I was him, I would stick it up to Plasterito until all of those are done, before granting him a rematch just for the pride.

Probably not yet, but his potential and phisical attributes will bring him to the P4P list soon, especially if he fights and defeats Caballero for those two belts. For the time being, he is still a young champion with fearful potential.

I don't think the Plasterito cheat has in any way affected Cotto and this situation with the wraps has given him even more confidence. The thing is that Cottos body wont allow him to go past the SWW division, while Juanmas physical atributes may carry him up to JWW or even WW in the future. SO Cotto will have to Clean the WW and SWW divisions to be Consider a ATG, whule Juanma can just win title, unify and Move( He will only need to clear a divsion!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sure you do lol....so you know how I feel now?? I don't think so just for the fact that Cotto's trainer watched his hands being wrapped in front of him. Let's not forget a HOF and a respectable Trainer(though his commentary sometimes sucks) saw that **** too in the previous fight. Tito Cheated, Margs cheated, Mosley cheated, Toney cheated, Jones cheated. Boxing isn't perfect.

1) pac, bhop and jmm are way above him
2) cotto still has to avenge his loss to margarito
3) cotto does not fight enough in a year to claim the title

the only scenario i can see that cotto can become p4p #1 is if he beats jennings (a given) and beats mosley and pac (if he beats hatton) or he beats hatton (if he beats pac) and beats pbf.

but lets be realistic.. cotto never sold out one of his fights here in pr... when juanma have been doing this for all his last fights ... i remember him fighting @ sola bezares.. y eran 6000 fanaticos y 2000 se quedaron fuera!!!

Or lose...(it's not crazy to think Pac loses to Hatton and JMM loses to Diaz, although I think they both win). I think B-Hop's done unfortunately.

That being said, Cotto's gotta run a hell of a gauntlet. And he'll have to make a mandatory or two in between all those fights, I don't know if he'll survive it. He's more than capable of beating all those fighters, but it's gonna be tough and I wouldn't bet on it.
