Hi Dinamita!! I don't see no where in the article that Cotto's bitching about his lost In cotto's own words "i'm not going to take away nothing from Margarioto's victory, it was his night" (in refernce to his fight with Cotto). However he is taking a stand against his promoter Arum because the way he's defending a guy that was proven by the comision that he cheated and punsihed for a year. No body beleives Margarito's story that he didn't know, because you ar seeing the guy wrap your hands in front of you and if you're hand are wet at that time (which they are not suppose to) the fighter will notice that there's something strange. Remeber you do not remove your hand from your body, have somebody take it to another room wrap them up then attached the hand wrapped up to you body afterward. DAAAAAAA!!!!!
What Cotto is saying that why his promoter is not obeying the suspension, being that it was proven that he had intentions to harm a boxer without knowing if it was done in the past' Hell even Margarito's hand wrapper said in the hearing that the wraps found on Margarito's hand stained with blood was from Cotto's fight. Explained that to me. Cotto is standing out for the boxer and boxing to have it fair at all time and if not get punished.
True, there's no proof that Margarito was ilegal for Cotto's fight but at this point there's no proof that he was legal and the way he has lied saying that he didn't know was his trainer was putiing in his hand and knowing that this has been the trainer that has been with him all his career, that tells me, Margarito has been doing that for a long time.
I like the way Cotto has let Arum know what he thinks about him and Arum might want to rethink how he treats Cotto becasue at this time with Margarito out (who was never a big pri$e fighter until Cotto anyway) might loose his second best Money Making boxer (after Pacquiao).Last edited by prsi; 02-14-2009, 07:48 AM.Comment

I like the fact that Cotto is standing out for boxing and boxers. Here's a guy that has never spoken out alot with his words buy he has done all the talking with his hands. Even when he probably has reason to be upset because they might have cheated on him he has not said a negative word about his lost.
However he has something to say to his own promoter about defending a person that has been suspended because it was proven that he could ilegally hurt any other fellow boxer. Arum want's to put Margarito to fight in Mexico while he's suspended unobeying the outcome of the hearing.
Arum do you want to send all the prisioners that USA has to the streets of Mexico until their sentence has expires and bring them back to USA??? I don't think Mexico deserve that especially knowing the great quality of Mexico fighters. I wonder if Mexico commision will allow him to fight over there and if the would, what would had happened if instead of trying to fight Mosley illegally he would be fight Julio Cesar Chavez JR, or his father when he was fighting, would they let him fight then??? Mexico has too many great fighters to be defending a cheater.
Arum do you beleive Margarito when he say's he didn't know what was on his hands that not (and probably every night)??? Why wasn't Margarito in the same room with his hand while they were being wrapped????DAAAAA!!!!!
Arum who was you best pri$e fighter between Margarito and Cotto before their fight took place??? The answer to that one is Cotto.
Arum you better be carefull because you might loose Cotto and with that the record breaking, sell out crowds in the Garden before the Puetorican Day Parade!!!!
Arum keep in mind that somewhere down the line Cotto might be facing Pacquiao, Maywether (if he returns) or even Hatton (if he beats Pacquiao) and you might be loosing a lot of money. I know in Pacquiao's case you might be involved but it's better to be the sole promoter of a Pacquiao-Cotto than being a co-promoter.

I knew Miguel Cotto was going to speak up about this more and more as long as Arum continues to push for Margarito to fight & tries to persuade people that he is innocent. Miguel Cotto just earned my respect big time. I may not be that much of a fan of his as a boxer but as a person I definitely support him & his decision to be more vocal about this situation because it's serious & you know he feels a certain way because in his eyes Margarito could have used it on him & Bob Arum is showing ignorance to the fact that Miguel Cotto could of seriously been hurt IF Margarito used it on him & if he got away with using it in the Mosley fight. I can't believe some of you are saying that he is Bitching because he speaks up about this situation when he remained silent for the most part?
I can tell a lot of you who post on here are really young guys to think a man is less of a man because he speaks up about a serious situation. I can't believe that a lot of people call PBF fans NUTHUGGERS & all other type names but still support a man that is a publicized CHEATER. To me that is NUTHUGGING to the UTMOST DEGREE. I have never expressed any interest in Cotto as a boxer but can respect the man for his hard work and HONEST approach and attitude he has brought to the ring. Looks to me like Cotto is about to leave Top Rank & I hope he does along with Joshua Clottey.Comment
