I'm not a Cotto fan, but I do see Cotto's point. Number one, I think he's right when he says that Top Rank doesn't care for the welfare of their fighters. All they want is $$$$$$$$$$. Number two, I hope Margarito doesn't take a fight in the summer. The respectable thing would be if he abided by the year long ban that has been imposed on him. Unless, it's overturned by the Commission which I don't see happening. Number three, if I were Margarito's camp- I would want him to take a long layoff because of his two previous fights. He's taken a lot of shots and needs the time off to heal, rest. I do give props to Cotto for not crying like his fans are doing on the forums about the Margarito fight, however we don't know if he will start up anything after the Jennings fight. Remember people without proof, your just talking out of your ass.Comment

I absolutely agree with Cotto and he has gained A LOT of respect from me for saying this... he has given his true opinion, which is right for the correct reasons. I think if Cotto is so concerned about Arums actions which he should be because I am too... I think Cotto should start talks with Golden Boy Promotions to maybe sign up with them, I really don't think he needs Top Rank and I believe he is too respectful to other fighters to be working with Arum now.
This isn't an attack on Arum or Margarito... but Cotto is 100% correct in this case, I genuinely think as somebody already stated that he should begin talks with Golden Boy Promotions because having disagreements and being concerned with your promoter is a really bad sign.
I know he wouldn't be reading this and all but I just want to give Cotto a little shout out there and say he has gained a lot of respect and credibility from many fight fans for saying this... he didn't just stay quiet and pretend to agree with his promoter, he gave his full opinion.Comment

well cotto already has his own promoting company. With this event he has all rights to get out of top rank and i'm sure this is why they are doing it. They are ready to get on their own. However his company is small and stays in PR but from what i understand they have a lot to do in cotto's fights. The time is perfect to give arum a kick in the ass. He shows he doesn't care for his fighters but more for the money....
