The fact is that most people are against the idea of a boxer being able to put plaster inside his gloves.

Most people think that a boxer would know if his trainer loaded his gloves with something. It's the sort of thing that you tend to notice.

I know where Arum is coming from with this statement. There is a significant anti-Mexican sentiment in California and other states in the Southwest. You'd have to live there or be from there to understand.

Southern California born and raised and I call BULL****. Mexicans are so common around here, even in places like Orange Country where people are stilled afraid of black people, Mexicans are treated with respect. The Mayor of Los Angeles is Mexican, the Mayor of Long Beach is Mexican.
