Of course he was the draw, are you blind man? He was the draw TO LOSE. People begging him to comeback really just want to see him lose, they don't like him or really care about him. Can't you read between the lines? It's plain to see. Floyd is not popular in the he's loved sense like Pacquiao or Cotto are, he's popular because most people and boxing media really want him to lose so he doesn't make history has the most accomplished fighter ever to retire undefeated. That's how i see it. As a fan i'd love to see Floyd in his best, that's why i buy some dvds of his past fights. People who fancy on fighters coming back out of their primes to get beat up in a boxing ring in a meaningless bout really should be locked up as they have serious hate problems.

I'm sorry Duke, but your logic is flawed. Using your wits, PBF is the biggest draw in the world since DLH-Mayweather did 2.4 mil and DLH-Pac did 1.25. I thought DLH was the biggest draw in boxing? How come he did 1.15 mil less buys without Mayweather? He was still fighting the #1 P4P in the world.

        Booya slut.

So Oscar drops around 50% PPV (in a time of emerging recession and in a fight that was being denounced in trade papers as a mismatch), but Floyd drops over 60%?

          Logic still stands.

Maybe Floyd is just more infamous than famous. People only tune in with the hope of seeing him get KTFO.

You're arguing semantics and making excuses while you're at it. Pac had 14 fights in the U.S. prior to the De La Hoya, was P4P #1, and was coming off the destruction of Diaz at 135 and his entertaining bout w/ Marquez. He had been on PPV a bunch of times before the DLH fight.

Hatton only had 6 fights in the U.S. before the Mayweather fight, and 2 of them were very early in his career. He had never been on PPV before the Mayweather fight and was completely unknown in the U.S.

Now an argument that you could make that I would buy is that DLH gave Mayweather popularity, and the only reason there were 850K buys for May-Hatton was because of DLH. That I may understand, but not your weak ****.

Semantics? LOL, you sure about that?

Still, at least you're being to put an argument together and drop the abuse.
