Cal's best wins are Eubank, Kessler, and Hopkins himself, and you can argue 2 of the 3 fought him a few years too late.

Both fighters are actually much closer ranked then you may think. They are only miles apart when you compare the years they both spent in Prison.

Soon as Hopkins jumped 2 classes and took the piss out of Tarver, the "beating on little guys" stuff became moot.

Tito and De La Hoya are only his biggest wins anyway. Not necessarily his best.

Agree with the thread...Joe gives competetive and hard fights to prime RJJ and 'prime' (meaning 'younger', since B-Hop has the mastery to extend his prime into senility if he wants) Hopkins respectively, but there's always going to be a case to be argued against it because of how his career panned out.

I dunno why so many say Hop is ATG. I love Fat Yank ATGs, and he ain't one of 'em.

See, this I don't understand. Why is Hopkins hailed as an all-time great when Calzaghe isn't? Sure, Bernard's career and resume are better but surely not that much better that Hopkins is instantly heralded as a sure-fire ATG and Calzaghe is just HOF.

I don't mind debating that Oasis but let's be honest with each other so we both know where we stand...when did you begin watching Hopkins? Then boxing, if you don't mind.

You have to have the resume, it's a prerequisite. It doesn't matter how skilled you may be. That's why BHop gets ATG praise.
