Is Hatton crazy enough to think he can box Pac?

That is an interesting way of looking at it.Like I said,I reckon ricky is going to jump on him in the first 3,so you never know.havent looked yet,but I reckon you would get cracking odds, and its worth a shout as an outside bet.

This is it. I think most fighters will just automatically revert to doing what they've been doing throughout their whole career if it isn't working out. They say "you can't teach an old dog new tricks", and it's definitely true to a certain extent, especially when a fighter is 40+ fights into the game. No matter what the trainer tells his fighter though, he can only do whatever their opponent will allow him to. I see Ricky getting frustrated at some point and going back to his old ways, BUT, this may be exactly what he needs to do.

Like we were saying in the other thread, MIB, Mayweather Sr. appears to be trying to train Ricky out of his "bad habits", but those bad habits could be the exact key to winning the fight. As much as I dislike Ricky's ugly style, it's more likely to be successful against Pacquiao than trying to box him.

Ah **** it... Pacquiao late T/KO!

I honestly don't see how anybody (aside from a drunk Hatton fan) is picking Ricky in this one. Ricky has no defense whatsoever, he's not as fast as Pacquiao, he's never performed at Pacquiao's level, he struggles with speedsters, and his face is literally one giant lump of scar tissue.

I see no other possible outcome than Pacquiao to win by embarassing **** before the 9th round.

Best of luck to Ricky and his fans though, if he wins, I'll be the first to step up and eat my words.

I just hope that there are no cuts or injuries because if this fight lives up to its potential it could be one for the ages.
If it turns into that kind of attritional fight, Hatton's getting cut. Find it hard to see the fight getting into that late round kind of territory without some of those sharp, accurate cut-opening type shots having found their mark on Ricky by that point.

He will need a **** hot cutman.Like I say,I rate both fighters, they are both brilliant at what they do and are brilliant to watch.I know how good hatton is inside and how strong he is,but I just dont see as much holding in this fight as in others, particularly the mayweather fight.I reckon it could actually be quite a clean fight while it lasts.I cant see it going the distance.

So many threads in here, I lose track.

                      What's the reason?
