Kermit Cintron Says Margarito Lost His Respect

Seriously...is there no other person in this forum that has gotten in the ring before that agrees with me???

I fought amateur for over ten years of my life, and if I found out or suspected that a previous opponent (who beat me) cheated in any way...I'd want to get his ass in the ring ASAP! **** all this he should be suspended, he doesn't deserve to get paid BS...I'd just want the opportunity to teach him a lesson right away!

Is this out of the ordinary? Cotto and Cintron are classy guys and I like watching them fight...but what's with all the threat of taking legal action and no talk what-so-ever of wanting another crack at Marg for "supposedly" cheating???

Look, I'm not defending Margarito. Even if what was put in his gloves was a simple extra pad for his knuckles...it's still AGAINST THE RULES!!! But where the **** are the balls on these guys talking ****??? Cotto, Cintron...DEMAND another fight with Marg and prove that your losses weren't legal!

After Cintron's bitching this past Saturday, I think the majority of boxing fans have lost respect for him!

It takes balls to get in the ring, so I'll give Cintron that. But he just doesn't have a fighters heart and shouldn't even be saying much of anything...EVER! He cried after getting beat by Margarito...damn-near lost it again while throwing a fit like a little kid on Saturday, so I think he needs to just shut it.

I couldn't believe it when I read that he actually stuck to his headbutt story after the fight on Saturday...saying that "nobody hits that hard." Martinez must've smeared some sort of clear plaster of paris on his head before the fight then!

When Antonio Margarito and his trainer, Javier Capetillo, went before the California State Athletic Commission on Tuesday, for a hearing to deal with a foreign substance that was found in Margarito's hand wraps before his fight with Shane Mosley on January 24 - several of Margarito's former opponents were watching closley. Cintron, the very next night, went on to lose my respect.

The respect I had left for him anyway, and also ruined his second chance after the Margo handwraps with his actions against Martinez...
