Definitely the jab, at least for me. You can win a fight with just your jab if it's good enough.
..WHAT'S MORE IMPORTANT: Feints Or Jabs? (Overall)...

I think it is a jab, even though I have only been Boxing for 2-3 weeks... I have heard things that make sense from videos, etc.
A good jab is the the best punch in Boxing as somebody already stated... if it lands flush and powerful it can send your opponent wobbling, and also the jab sets up your other punches... e.g. if you manage to snap somebodies head back with a good jab it can set you up to throw another powerful shot at you opponent while in a safer position (whether it is a straight or a hook or whatever).
That is what I have heard anyway... but there is obviously a lot more to it that I should learn in the future. Some of it could be right and some of it could be wrong but all I am saying is that's what I have heard.Comment

Although you should incorporate some feints in your style. Feinting does help. But jabbing is the key. I think at least.
Jabs set things up, score points, establishes position, keeps opponent off balance, and maintains control. At least that's what i think.
Jorge Arce didn't or doesn't have a jab. Which is why he couldn't contain Darchinyan. That was an aiite fight. A little one sided, but Vic looked aiite.Comment

you either have to establish the jab or be known to be a great jabber before your feints work everytime.Comment
