No disrespect, but it would only be natural for you to big up Hatton. It makes Mayweather's win seem better, plus Mayweather Sr. is working with him. Of course you're gonna support Hatton.

By the way, Pacquiao has never been knocked out in the first round. He was KO'd by a 3rd round body shot 10 years ago against Medgoen Singsurat, possibly due to the shot being a low blow and Pacquiao being weight drained. Pac failed to make weight at the weigh-in. 112lbs was obviously impossible for him to make. Put Singsurat in the ring with Pacquiao today and you can bet your bottom dollar Pacquiao would make a mockery of him.

Hatton, on the other hand, was knocked out only just over a year ago by a punch that didn't even look very hard. It was just well-timed and precise.

I can respect your opinion. But I remain objective in boxing. I have a fav boxer like anyone else but I'm open and hoping for the better man to win any and all times. No matter who i'm rooting for if the boxer should lose to the other guy i acknowledge him being the better fighter at that time. I can see you are very judgmental just based on the fact that you saw that my pic was Floyd. Did it ever cross your mind that I like Manny too??? because he is one of my fav fighters.

      However...

This fight is at 140 lbs.

      Some history..

      Hatton is 45-0 at 140lbs..
Manny is 48-3 at mostly smaller weight classes.

Hatton is aggressive and bullies alot. Has a great chin (one punch by Floyd out of
thousands that he has taken in his career doesn't change this). Has excellent footwork and a beautiful body punch and punching power. Has very good hand speed and timing He sits under his punches to delivery the big blows. Weakness: overaggressive at times and sometimes loses concentration. Boxing in the middle of the ring. sticking to specific gameplans without adjusting naturally to the fight.

Manny is a better boxer with excellent footwork and better handspeed. He comes at his opponent at many angles and uses many feints to confuse his opponents timing. Uses the ring very well and listens to his gameplans and adjusts very well accordingly during the fight. Weakness: Has a suspect defense and takes unnecessary punishment because of his warrior-like pride. lacks punching power in this weight class. not very good fighting backwards as he likes to put his hands down when stepping back. Not good in the clinch.

I think its the great little guy vs the great bigger guy and Hattons style and new training will allow him to walk through Manny's punches easily. He will work to get to the clinch and deliver those crushing body shots. Mayweather senior will train him to take angles and approach more cautiously as he did when entering to the clinch with Paulie. Hatton clinches and wins because he is stronger and he really is the king of 140 until further notice. Manny won't be strong enough to stave off Ricky but he will fight bravely and get in several highlight punches. He will make it good while it lasts but Ricky will break him down exactly like Margarito broke down Cotto (without the illegal wraps).
