No matter what people say, it was definitely a different approach he used & it was successful. It's funny to me because guys on here are questioning my boxing knowledge because I actually think Hatton has a chance?

The guy has only lost once in his whole professional career & has dominated the Jr Welter Weight division. What's so crazy with thinking he has a shot at beating Pacquiao? Manny is a GREAT offensive fighter but his game plan is always explosive & he loves to **** (Morales,Barrera,Marquez,Diaz) Name 1 fight that Pacquiao didn't want to **** out instead of box. The only fight he boxed was with Oscar & that's because Oscar was bigger & slower. I see Hatton pressuring Manny to fight his fight because Manny's instinct is to brawl & not back down.
No, there's nothing wrong with what you're saying, lots of us give Hatton a good chance, even if we think he's unlikely to win. We're just discussing how he could win.

But regarding the Malignaggi fight, I don't believe Hatton needed to use a mauling style, hold and smother, etc. He had he fight in the bag easily because Malignaggi simply wasn't a threat. Paulie coldn't hurt him. A fighter could use a mauling style to shut down the offense of his opponent. Fighters often use it when they are in trouble and can't control their opponent. This was never necessary against Malignaggi.

Ah, I can't trust Wikipedia 100%. I got my info from fight tapes, plus there's another thread on here which details all the stats of both fighters, including everything except **** size. I'll go try to find it.

OK, Boxrec has Hatton at 5'7½". It also has Pac at 5'6½".

If Pacquiao dominates Hatton, I will be the first on here to admit I was wrong but I'm just not seeing it. I have a feeling the fight can go either way.
The Pacquiao KO's 10 years ago may be irrelevant, after all that was before Roach and Ariza... I remember Justine Fortune's way of strengthening Pacman's body, Justine was hitting Pacman on the body with no gloves or pads, I would've go down if I was hit with just one seeing how big Justine Fortune is. But of course Pacquaio is holding his breath... the key to a successful body shot is.. if it hits the opponent while catching his breath.
In that case any fighter...no matter what the weight class... or how tough his body is... is always vulnerable to body shots.

Ricky is one of those fighters with a great body punch coupled with punching power. But of course...if you throw a punch to the body you'll leave your head defenseless or open to counter-punches.
in this case with Pacquiao of course...you'd have to gamble a single shot to the body and accept 4-6 combinations from Pacquiao.

You got me with the penis size!!! You made me laugh to death... LOL!!!

But with that stats i think pacquiao is bigger than hatton in terms of body size but not height...
