Margarito should be banned for at least 1 year

1 YEAR is not harsh. The man was trying to cheat against Mosley and there is enough to believe that he cheated against Cotto and he serioulsy hurt one of his sparring partners before the Mosley fight. If Zab Judah and Roger Mayweather got banned for 1 year for their actions in that in the ring brawl during the Mayweather fight, Margarito should be banned for at least 1 year for intentionally trying to hurt someone illegally in the ring. I would push for an indefinite ban because the nature of the sport of boxing is already a brutal one, when you tried to load gloves with illegal sh-t! The fighter and the trainer should be banned indefinitely!!!

Fisrt: if Margarito apply for nevada, he will never get it, no at this time, it will be a bad sign to the boxing agencies in the U.S. seconly: no promoter in their right business mind will back up that. it will be a situation where many people knows that what Margarito did was ilegal, and they will boycott any product from any company sponsoring a Margarito fight, it will be an identification with ilegal support, " nobody will put their hands on the fire now" as a matter of fact if a Margarito fight go into PPV, it will be a big mistake finantially, the people buying that fight will be very limited let this thing cool off, and time will tell, i know that the promoters wans money because money is honey, but no that way, be bless.

I like the idea, only because I think the CSAC has really dropped to ball on this one. And they are taking their sweet time picking it back up. Judgement has been passed on Toni, but I think other states willing to license him is kind of a needed reminder that the CSAC is not God, and needs to be accountable for their respective duties as well.

I cant see any state touching him with a ten foot barge pole,well, not unless they want to bring their own commision into disrepute,and being realistic Margarito is not a large enough commodity for Arum to bargain/threaten anyone with.suppose he fights abroad,he is going to have to pay a ton of money to any prospective opponent.cant see the networks going for it either,not even out of morbid curiosity.He is banned for at LEAST a year.If it turns out that there was plaster or some other hardening agent(viagra?) in that gauze,then I think his ban will/should be a lot longer.
