    2008
    2007
    2006
    2004
    2003
    2002
    2001
    2000
    1999

The only year was 2005 when he lost two razor sharp decisions to Jermain Taylor.

The only other fighter who has done that is Roy Jones:
    2003
    2002
    2001
    2000
    1999
    1998
    1997
    1996
    1995
    1994
    1993

Pernell Whitaker also had I think 9 years ranked top 10.
what year was roy pound 4 pound #1?

one thing I always tell the B-Hop haters and doubters is you don't have to LIKE him but you gotta RESPECT him.

Who will be the next fighter to stay up here for 10 years? I'll go with PW.

That is pretty damn impressive. Just hthink about how impressive his career might have been if he was not like against every promoter in the sport until he hooked up with Golden Boy, or if the middlewieght division was not a barren waste land for a large chunk of his career. It is remarkable really the legacy he has when you think about the renegade he was (before 2005 atleast).

Forgot to add about B-Hop, he did not get on the rankings until he was 33 or 34 years old, so staying on 10 years after that is pretty sick

That is true. Though I don't think there is much comparison between the two at all when discussing legacy.

                  B-Hop > Pac also
I'd agree on that one as well. Somewhere out there in the world right now, a Pinoy's head just exploded...........

I really doubt that, I mean he hired Freddie Roach as his trainer when Naazim was sidelined, he put Mackie Shilstone in the most important role in his camp for the Wright and Calzaghe fights, he's a pretty good friend of Randy Couture from all I've read, and that whole thing he did with Shaun Negler.

                    ^^Good point.

It's also funny that he was considered old 10 years ago!!!

Even before that, I remember in the Robert Allen II fight they were saying before the fight hopkins got old overnight and Allen was going to knock him out!
