No...really? You didn't think he would actually take a risk did you? You didn't actually think he'd put his 0 in harm or jeopardy?

I don't know I grew up in Detroit when Barry was the man, it is kind of cool that I never had to see him flounder around, only remembering him as the man. Although his departure ****ed the Lions, I do not think Floyd's departure has anywhere near the same effect on boxing, other then missing a couple big events a year (and in boxing really more big fights do not happean then they really do).

in terms of skill and talent Barry had room to become greater, although in Floyd's case he has the resume to back it up better than Barry's to his respective sport... but still.. each could've been greater or the greatest..

They both could have done more, this is true.

Except he refused to fight Paul Williams or even to respond when Williams calls him out.

A WBO belt is pretty meaningless. Williams is the fighter who is most likely to be able to beat Mosley at Welterweight. If Mosley truly wanted to fight the best fighters available, he'd want to fight Williams. Years ago, the best fighters all wanted to fight the best fighters, to prove they were the best. Nowadays they only want the biggest money fights or the fights they are pretty certain they can win. Mosley has the reputation for being different, but I don't think he is any more, because he is uninterested in fighting Williams or Clottey, the two biggest risk fights out there for him right now.

Mosley-Williams would also be likely to be a fascinating fight, like Leonard-Hearns. If marketed properly, I'm sure it could sell fairly well.

im a floyd fan, but even i'm sick about hearing stories about this ***** all the time....

can we keep him out of the headlines, until he officially announces his return to the ring, and a fight is announced?

this **** here is nothing we haven't become accustomed to......shane, cotto, every other WW, move on.....there are other fights out there. the only fight floyd comes out of retirement for is pacman, and i wouldn't even bet on that.....

you are entitled to your own opinion but to rule out the possibility of Mosley beating Floyd is contrite and just plain ree****yaluss, Floyd isnt fighting Mosley because he wants the winner of Hatton vs Pac that is obvious but it would be so funny if Pac wins and chooses to fight Mosley or Cotto over Mayweather. That would be justice served.
