That fight made even less sense, they were supposed to fight when they were both undefeated a long ass time ago and it didn't happen, that's when fans wanted it, when the actual fight happened though nobody wanted that fight, it was big because they both accepted by the urban community but it was far from demanded or requested by any fan, infact judah had already lost to baldomir and mosley was campaigning for a fight with floyd too, that's the fight people wanted they wanted mayweather-mosley so for you to actually sit there a front, because that's what you are doing man, to sit there and front like people wanted to see hatton and judah fight him is crazy, that can only be said if you're trying to give him some undeserved credit, nobody wanted those fights..

Saying people wanted floyd to fight judah is like saying they wanted him to fight sharmba mitchell, they was all supposed to have already fought at the same time but didn't and it was back then people wanted the fght, zab was already flawed and so was mitchell, that was like joe calzaghe fighting b-hop and roy when he did, yes we wanted the fights at one point but when they fought nobody wanted to see those fights, they already knew what would happen exactly as it happened. Nobody wanted those fights, he fought those opponents out of a pool full of better fights, mosley was better than zab, mitchell and baldomir fused together at that time and even more so now. Mosley was always around, he was always down to fight floyd and people always wanted to see it even more today yet look, he turns away from the fight..

He didn't give the fans the fights they wanted to see since lightweight, he's been half assing us since leaving 135 and people been buying it. He started hand picking his opponents to preserve his career, this is why he would face miguel cotto at 140 for peanuts, a weight where miguel was clearly drained and weaker, but wouldn't face him when he was an undefeated welterweight king just like you were and after he beat mosley, a man you were supposed to face yourself but he did it for you, floyd just fell back then, cotto was a threat and he fell back but at 140 where cotto clearly wasn't who he is now he wanted to fight him, it's pure bull**** because if i was willing to face you for chump change when you were half the man you now are i should be able to face you now that you have found yourself and are my equal. It's very tasteless and for you to sit there and defend him, lie about people wanting to see him against hatton and judah is wrong, people never demanded those fights, they wanted him to fight margarito, mosley and cotto and he fought neither of the 3, that's the truth..
u been on this site since 2007...so u know damn well that they were screaming it right here on this site. There is polls that still say they wante dhim to face zab. For yrs we argued over hatton and floyd fighting. Alot pf people were claiming hatton had the style and the pressure to beat floyd and blah blah blah. Right here on this site. Mosley never even mentioned floyd's name until after the oscar fight. I'm not fronting...u lying to yourself. Just look in the archives!!!!

Winky and Forrest made Mosley look so so bad, now they both have a lot of size on Floyd so Mosley might be able to make something happean a little better for himself against Floyd. To me Shane need to prove he can beat a better technical boxer then himself, he has never really done that with the exception of possibly Oscar (with an assist from Balco). So until you prove to me that Shane can do anything of note versus a really good technical boxer (that does not hurt his had and become a 1 handed fighter, like Collazo) I can not see him having any sort of success against Floyd (if Mosley was a 10 to 1 underdog I would not bet on him on this fight, and I almost always would go that route in this sort of fight).

I still would want to see the fight even with all I said because Shane deserves the chance to prove me wrong, and have wanted to see the fight come off for years and years
Well against Winky he was fighting him at middleweight and winky is much bigger than him. he was able to use his long reach and jab to keep mosley off him. it was a total mismatch although mosley put in a lot better effort and i thought it could have been a draw in the rematch! and again Forrest well yea another much bigger opponent more of a middleweight than true welter. dont get me wrong i think Mayweather would probably win but i think that if Mosley were to come in with the mindset of pressuring Floyd that he could have a chance because i think even if in the opening he wasnt landing clean shots well floyd would still feel his power and back away from him even more than he has done at WW. also it would be interesting if the ref doing the fight would let Mosley wrestle floyd like he did against Margarito. if he was allowed to use his physical strength it would be another advantage for him. in the end though i think floyd would wear him down and win probably by majority decision by winning most of the late rounds but i wouldnt sleep on Mosley though!

        • PBF is a FRAUD...Plain and simple...A worthy opponent and he running scared SURPRISE,SUPRISE. You now can add Mosley to that list of Cotto,Margarito,Tzyou,Casamayor,Freitas,Williams all fighters he ducked in his divisions while in his prime...Yeah PBF is the best ever no doubt!

after all Oscar was and still is promoting him
so he had to take up the arse with no lube and watch his boss take on the
task of trying to beat Mayweather

If you knew what you were talking about you would know that he amde tooth ache **** up before the oscar fight
after that fight sugar called him out again and floyds excuse was he dont fight sparring partneres
            talk about excuses
I guess you like the sparring partner excuse better than the tooth ache

On a side not I saw the ODH Floyd fight and its sad the way he was almost robbed. He won a clear unanimous decision 116-112
How do you explain Floyd calling Out Mosley Live on HBO after he beat Henry Brussels, years ago when he was at 140 Pounds.

            Mosley said what?

Only body, he would fight is Manny Pacman, lets hope he wins. This would be

                bigger than Pac-De La Hoya.

I do agree that because Floyd is smaller and really fights differently then both Forrest and Winky, that Mosley might be able to do something. Now in this thread I also talked about how Floyd can adapt and Shane has never shown that ability, so if that is where I am comming from even if Mosley has some early success I can not see it lasting (Mosley was hitting Margarito with straight right hands all night, now I am sure Mosley would hit Floyd with some but I can not see that being a constant trend throughout the fight). The time off could also effect Floyd and Mosley may be positively affected by his divorce from that life sucking *****.

Mosley is strong and if Floyd laid on the ropes and let Mosley muscle him around, that would most likely be to Mosley advantage. I think Floyd would try to fight Mosley in close at points though because I am confident that Floyd has the better defence and the shorter sharper punches.

Mosley would look ok for a few rounds, but by the end he would look lost and like he did not belong in the same ring with Mayweather, imo.

                  • I hope Floyd Mayweather doesn't become the Barry Sanders of boxing

                    • I guarantee if Mosley would have barely/unimpressively won the Margarito fight, Mayweather would take the fight. Although, given Mosley's actual performance, a fight with Mayweather would certainly make more money. I admit, I'd probably pay for it if the undercard was acceptable.
