I think Cotto will have much more trouble with Berto than he would Clottey. Cotto has trouble with aggression and speed. While Berto is still green, his natural talents are phenomenal.

Clottey just doesn't throw enough...Cotto won't stop Clottey, but he'll win a clear decision.

I strongly disagree.

Clottey doesn't pressure and has a very limited workrate. Guys that don't throw more than Cotto don't give him too much trouble. Styles wise, Cotto is all sorts of wrong for Clottey.

Reason Clottey was so successful against Tony for like 5 rounds, the performance that's given him his name, was because Tony was coming at him non stop and he was able to counter. He couldn't sustain that pace and gassed.

Cotto would dictate the pace, and if you let Cotto dictate the pace you're probably going to lose.

Bertos speed means nothing for Cotto, a rematch with Mosley is good and the fight with Clotey is coming soon but I think Cotto is going after Berto next because is the best fight out there money wise but afeter that fight is Mosley and the Clotey

I personally don't think Berto is ready for Cotto, but I mean if he's willing to step in, then God bless him. Although I would like to see Mosley-Cotto 2 first, being that Shane isn't getting any younger.

If berto isnt ready now, when is he going to be ready? he has a belt and if he is not ready for top caliber guys, he shouldnt have the damn thing.
