I don't know bout that. Floyd has the same expression before a fight. Straight face. Although before the Gatti fight he was smiling. I doubt he has confidence problems. He is delusional and frequently contradicts himself tho.

I agree with this, actually. He comes off as having somewhat of a false bravado.

I agree with the opening post 100%. Floyd is not a confident person at all, he is actually very insecure and sensitive. That's why he feels the need to portray a "badass" persona.
