I've got BHop too. Chad has to prove himself to be considered better than Hopkins. They both schooled Tarver but Hops performance was better in that he was coming up in weight. Chad is top 5 American boxer though. I've got PWill at number 2, he is knocking fools out in all kindsa weight classes. And he learned his lesson from Quintana.

Don't get me wrong man, I love B-Hop, but if the two were to fight, I think Chad could edge him out.

Agreed... I think Dawson is frustrated against Hopkins, his workrate takes a one way ticket to nowhere, and he gets decision big just like the Pavlik fight.

Dawson's chin actually isn't so great either, so I could see him getting KO'd by a barrage of Hopkins's right hands. Hopkins isn't a huge puncher at this point, but... his right hand is no joke. His power is clearly underrated at this point in his career.

You reckon? I think I'd bet on Bernard to win that one. Would love to see it though.

There's no way Dawson/Hopkins looks like Pavlik/Hopkins. No way.

If anything, it looks like Hopkins/Taylor. I think Hopkins would frustrate Dawson some, but I also think Hopkins would have some trouble with Dawson's hand speed. Dawson is not as one dimensional as Pavlik. Hopkins' game plan was "take the 1-2 with the right coming over the top and I win". You can't do that with Dawson.

I see it as a close fight that could go either way.

To be fair, that 44 year old is pretty much better than any country's young blood, so...

Maybe so, but... his still kills his workrate. I guess the closeness of the fight depends on how easily Dawson gets discouraged. If he gives up early, before Hopkins starts to tire, he loses a wide decision. He can pull it out if he fights all the way down, although I still believe that Taylor only won because Hopkins started way too late to have a prayer of getting the decision. Hopkins seems to have fixed this and fights the early rounds now, which could take Dawson's heart away early.
