James Toney. Moved up and fought in 5 different weight classes and has never been stopped. He took punches from Sam Peter that put Wladimir Klitschko down 3 times and knocked out other heavyweights. Not to mention the punches he took at cruiser weight from Jirov. One of the best chins I have ever seen. This is a man who started off at 160. I can't think of any other fighter in history who through that many weight classes without getting KO'd.

He was also hurt from that booming right uppercut from Lewis. Had him holding on and staggering all over Lewis. Anybody who didn't see that is lying to themselves.

Especially when he puts Calzaghe on it when Joe was legitimately hurt from the Roy Jones knockdown and Brian Mitchell. Not to mention he went down against Hopkins. And for those who say Hopkins has never been hit fush, that is not true at all. Antwon Echols(who punched very hard at 160) hit Hopkins as did Robert Allen and Glen Johnson. Each one of those guys had good power at 160 and they hit Hopkins.Hopkins defense got better as an older fighter when he became less active. But he HAS been hit solidly. To say he hasn't is a lie.

Hopkins can take a shot and he did take shots but i was saying that he HARDLY gets hit flush. thats a testament to how great a boxer he is though.

There was only 1 legit knockdown in the Wlad/Peter fight. The other two were from an illegal rabbit punch and a push down.

Hopkins has great defense, he rarely ever gets hit flush. The only time I've seen him seriously hurt was against Mercado, he was knocked down 3 times.

Actually two time, and he wasn;t really hurt either. Factors other than punches were bothering him that night, such as a ****in CIVIL WAR that was going on outside.
