TOP 5 Greatest Boxing Trilogies of All-Time?

    Here are my favorite trilogies:

    1. Ali vs. Frazier - What thrilling fights, especially the Thrilla in Manila.

    2. Barrera vs. Morales - They literally hated each other.

    3. Gatti vs. Ward - Pure gut-wrenching hearts.

    4. Bowe vs Holyfield - The Phoenix bird as personified by Holyfield.

    5. Leonard vs. Duran - The great, the surreal, and the old.

    Honorable mention:

    Pacquiao-Morales & Duran-De Jesus : Revenge is sweet.

How about you guys? What's your favorite trilogies of all-time?

You have to put Vazquez/Marquez up there. All three fights were amazing and all could of won fight of the year. Not only were they all wars, but they werent just mindless brawling, they had technique and form in the punches and when they were placed. Just a great triology.

Aside from the first fight, the Leonard-Duran triology was rather uneventful. Aside from the whole "No Mas" debacle the rematch was rather dull, as well as the one sided 3rd fight.

How about Graziano-Zale? 2 out of 3 were voted fight of the year.

Surprised no one has mentioned Floyd Patterson v Ingemar Johansson, yet. Now that's a great trilogy.
