yea man, both had their licenses revoked. That means minimum of a year, and than they have to try and get their licenses back, which isn't a guarantee. It being revoked and them being suspended are different...and they got the worse which is revoked.
Thanks for clearing that up. Really an unfortunate situation, but the consequences seem light as Silencers said.

Yeah, for at least a year in the US, I doubt he'll be out of the ring for long though because it seems Tijuana is willing to license him.

Somethin' ain't right in the state of California.
Arum has to show outrage because it's his guy. He'll cut ties behind closed doors.

Yep. I hear ya. Bob should give praise to the CSAC for withholding judgment and giving Margo the benefit of the doubt by not discussing the matter until all the facts were presented.

Apparently, there was ample evidence and testimony presented to allow the commission to reach their ultimate decision via unanimous vote.

          And Bob's still unhappy.

            • on a serious note

I'm actually very knowledgiable on boxing.it's a joke if he can fight again.but you all have to remember boxing is full of cheaters & frauds from the boxers to the promoters.I'm pissed that margarito did this especially when good fights are happening again.it's a black cloud over the sport for sure.watch FNF fights march 27.Sam peter vs eddie chambers.I'm going to London to see klitschko vs haye

he should do but it depends if margarito can still make him some cash but to be honest who is gonna wanna fight a proven cheater the only 3 ppl i can think of are cotto cintron and clotty and that would only be to see if they can actually beat him i cant see any boxer whit a shred of decency fighting him because it would make them look bad for agreeing to fight some1 whos banned but then again i could be wrong depends how much cash gets flashed

                    Really pathetic actually.
I understand what you're saying, but do laws nullify common sense and logic? All signs are pointing to guilt. The trainer admitted that there was "innocent" wrongdoing. Any idiot could tell you that this was likely not an accident, especially doing it in both gloves; we have every right to presume guilt after today's trial. Also, as many have pointed out, a boxer who has been doing it for a decade plus cannot possibly be this oblivious to what's wrapped/placed on his hands before slipping on the gloves. I do however find it odd that Marg ostensibly seemed to have no objection to having his wraps checked; maybe, just maybe this has been going on for so long that he really is ignorant in the matter because the illegal wrapping has become routine. But again, being a professional boxer for so many years would lead one to believe that he is not oblivious to what transpired.

And finally, I see that you're not an idiot and know what you're talking about to some degree, but I'm not sure you know the meaning of the word salacious. Typo perhaps, malicious, or something.

                    • THAT IT. ITS CONFIRMED. I NOW CAN SAY THAT:

                      MARGARITO IS A ****ING CHEATER!!!

ONLY MARGARITO'S WHORES HERE IN BOXINGSCENE WILL BELIEVE HIS BULL**** EXPLANATION. Magarito's fights should all be declared no contest and his new record should be 44NC, 6L, 0KOs
