That I did not know. I thought he could go to Vegas, Texas, or whatever. I think two years would be a stricter penalty that would show that they arent messing around. A year is a decent penalty though.

I personally think he should be banned. It is unacceptable to use or admit to use loaded gloves. There are rules in place for the safety of the boxers. It is immoral to violate the rules that prevent things like death from occurring.

Margarito should not be suspended but every victory where Capetillo was his trainer should be changed to a NC and Capetillo should be banned from boxing for life.

the cheater is done for a year and if he tries to fight somewhere else the it will affect his re-instatement in the U.S. not only is he gone for a year he has to be re-instated. this is not a suspension its a license revoke. and he was hit with a undislosed fine.

I got an idea. Let Margarito fight Cotto, Clottey, Cintron in T.J. 1 difference. Give Cotto, Clottey, Cintron the loaded gloves and make Tony fight FAIR. Nevermind Cotto, Cintron, Clottey don't need that weapon of mass destruction. Margarito does. Suspend his Ass for 18 months. He would lose out on 3 fights.
