Yeah I knew they'd eventually bring this up, trying to get Margarito off on a technicality.

Whats crazy is they ask like Margarito is an amateur, like he isn't a professional that hasn't had his hands wrapped thousands of times...like he would've know if something is wrong with the way he gets his hands wrapped.
I suppose he was in the bathroom while they were wrapping him.

dirty ****** ass lawyer. it don't make no difference who touched the cheaters pads afterwards. the CSAC were in there when the blocks of plasters fell out when they made him unwrap his hands. he knew he was caught so might as well fight anyway and save atleast half the purse.

The NSAC would be fools to come out now and say something. They'd get slapped with heavy lawsuits since they sign off that the gloves are wrapped properly. They're saving their ass more than Marg's...TRUST

Yeah but you know whats funny?....If there was blood on this old wrap and of course it was "old"....then from which previous boxing match was it from?
I know the Cotto haters will say...well it could have come from any other fight...ok well that would mean Cintron, or Johnson. But realistically it was from his most previous match. Haters can also say it was from sparring...but honestly why would Margarito want to punish sparring partners? Or beat them badly while training?

to test out the pads, you don't just test out new equipment gametime. Can't they do labtesting on the blood to figure this out? It's 2009! Maybe that's what's taking so long.

I'm just kinda iffy still..like people here acting like it isn't common sense for him to have illegally wrapped his hands against Cotto, Cintron, or Clottey...as they can all possess the same threat as a 37 year old Mosley!..

Especially in the Cotto fight in which was his first headlined PPV and his biggest fight EVER!..and he was the underdog!..why would he play it fair there and cheat against the 4:1 underdog??..feel me?

Wrong... they don't care what happened with the Cotto fight. The fight was in Vegas and not California.

Nah man, he's just saying they tampered with the evidence in an attempt to get that evidence thrown out the window. It's like a crime scene...if someone touches the evidence than the forensics get ****ed up and any conclusion they came to could be tainted.

Wrong. Its not exactly a crime scene and the hearing is in front of a board, not a judge. The board is going to determine Margo's eligibility to fight again, not whether or not he goes to jail. So far the board has already determined that the wraps were illegal. That is no longer in question. What is still left to talk about is the length and severity of the punishment. Shouls be a life long ban if you ask me.

But for those who are saying Cotto should get back his zero. Wrong again. Now while Margo probably did use the illegal hand wraps for the Cotto fight, there is no evidence, therefore the match must remain legit.

Yea I know, I was just referring to another thread where people were saying Cotto should get his zero back. And I basically said that there was no way it could be brought up in this trial. I wasn't trying to say he cheated in the Cotto fight or anythin...

Personally I dont know about removing a loss or losses from other fights....but I do feel that they need to address the issue and be realistic....I mean who, with the exception of Margarito fans or nuthuggers I should say, believe that this was his first attempt at trying to cheat.....A LOGICAL DEDUCTION WOULD LEAD US TO BELIEVE THAT IT WAS DONE MANY MORE TIMES.
I dont believe AROD tried steroids once either.
