It seems that they did find something illegal in Margarito's gloves and he deserves to get punished accordingly. Margarito's not the first boxer/ fighter to obviously try to cheat and he won't be the last. I do admit this one hurts because I and many other boxing fans had great expectations for Margarito.

I'm no scientist but I'm guessing it takes time for the lab to properly test & analyze the material found in the padding. Watching CSI all the time makes us believe lab results will be determined within 60 minutes, but obviously CSI is not the real world.

You're right it doesn't take 60 minutes, it takes several hours. But it doesn't take more than that. The delay is due entirely to bureaucracy, it has nothing to do with science.
