Nobody is gonna take a fight like that on this kind of notice.
This sucks for Angulo, and it sucks for his fans. He is gonna end up fighting a nobody on saturday.
Hopefully he can get a good fight rolling as soon as this is over.

I would say Vanes, but too early, he just fought a couple days ago. Reason why he wasnt looking like himself is cause he hurt or broke his left hand/wrist in the 2nd or third round if i remember correctly. He will fight Angulo or Kirkland hopefully soon. but the homie needs to rest the hand for a bit.

Does anyone know whats' going on with vernon? Both he and clottey must be the most inactive champiions out there......

They both can't seem to get an opponent to sign the dotted line and get in the ring!!!
Forrest won't even fight his mandatory challenger (Sergio Martinez). He is a joke of a champion. It's unfair to Josh Clottey to compare him to Forrest. Clottey would probably fight anyone they offered.

YORY Boy Campas would be ideal. I hope they dont scratch Angulo from teh card, even if he fights a stiff its better to have more fights than less.

Angulo would eat Duddy alive. That is a fight Shaw would jump at. Duddy is on the verge of a title shot (most undeserving) so there is no way they are going to risk him w/a live body, let alone a killer like angulo. I would like to see Ouma or Smith get the shot but apparently HBO and/or Shaw not willing to take the risk. I can't blame them. Despite being impressive, Angulo is green and he needs to get some experience w/pure boxers before taking on those guys. I think Angulo gets by both of them though.
