Very disappointing, like some people on this forum have indicated, Mayorga should be subject to heavy fines. I guess there must be a stipulation in the contract which states that a fighter may withdraw due to injury, but as stated by the article, there may have been monetary motives behind Mayorga's decision.
If that were the case, I would sue his ass, or if there is any evidence of bad faith in Mayorga's situation, threaten litigation to compel him to fight El Perro.
No matter what however, I would like to see Angulo fight, tomato can or not. I don't think its good for a fighter to train all of this time and not utilize that against an opponent on or near his scheduled fight date. It may discourage him from hard and consistent training in the future. Damn you Mayorga!!! lol
