You gotta be realistic man, if you've seen Kessler fight, and if you've seen the rest, you know that he is MUCH better than both Froch and Bute, Wlad is the best HW, but he hasn't fought Chagaev, does that mean I'm overrating him if I say he's the best, and he needs to prove it against Chagaev??

Taylor schools him. Kessler has a better 168 resume but that's because Taylor hasn't fought at that weight yet. JT is a better overall fighter than Kessler IMO.

This is what I mean, Taylor is the only one that is a real danger for Kessler, In the SMW it's really a toss up between Kessler and Taylor, these 2 are way ahead of the rest, I don't see how someone considering Kessler better can be overrating.

Reason why Williams is rated because atleast he is trying to get big fights

Kessler openly said he is avoiding certain fighters lmao

Just curious, what fighters has Kessler said that he is avoiding?

Wlad has built himself up as the best HW by seeing off the best challengers Kessler has not done that. When he did face the linear champ he lost.

The best guy in the 168lbs division has not long left..... so that 168lb supremacy is on the table to be fought for ........to prove who is the best at that weight.

Kessler beats those guys he gets my vote.

Kesslers lost to a great fighter.

Williams has lost to a B-level fighter.

                  Says it all really.

Again, you are just looking at statistics saying, Kessler has not fought these guys, so you can't say he's better...
Like I said, if you actually watch the matches in the SMW division, you can clearly see that Kessler and Taylor are the only ones worth debating as to who is the best SMW, and they are much better than the rest.

I could argue that Williams actually beat elite fighters, and Kessler hasnt.
Anyway I dont think either of them are exactly over rated, just not quit proven. Williams could turn out to be the best JMW, and might even be able to take on big gun MWs, but its yet to be seen. Kessler could turn out to be the best SMW, but I need to see him fight a Jermain Taylor, Lucian Bute or even Carl Froch type first.
Both are way over rated by their fanatics, obviously, those that think nobody from 147 to 160 stands a chance against Williams, and nobody from 160 to 175 stands a chance against Kessler. But those are the crazies.
