How was Kessler Unified champ when Calzaghe was recognized as the linear champ? Kessler held a couple of belts that all, but who has he beat ?

WTF Williams has a win over a pime Margarito. Kessler has no outstanding win over a top fighter unless you consider an old Marcus Beyer to be a top fighter at that stage.

Besides a very few bias fans, Kessler hasn't really ever been over hyped. Everyone knows he is a respectable super middle weight but few ever say he is the "best" or anything like that. So I can't really say he has been overrated.

Williams on the other hand is way to hyped for what he can do. He is pretty good and is blessed with a physical advantage over other boxers his weight, but he is in no way the super fighter that so many have tried to make him out to be, especially as he moves up in weight.

Kessler is not willing to step up to the plate, how many fighters are waiting in line for a fight with him. Williams can't force opponents to fight him. All, Kessler has to do is ask and his wish can come true. Williams on the other hand is putting money on the table for fights and no one is bitting.

Can't be bias, when Marg claimed he put 8 mil up to fight Floyd everyone called Floyd a coward for not taking it. So what do you call fighters that are not willing to fight for there biggest pay day.

well, Quintana is hardly a bum just because Cotto beat him up. before the Cotto fight people considered him a very skilled fighter after he beat Joel Julio. although yea, it was a fairly embarressing moment for Williams all the same.

Im going to go ahead and say Williams, just because the Kessler fans dont really hype him up that much, for the most part theyre pretty reasonable. you get some crazy Williams fans.

on the other hand, Williams has clearly fought/is goign to fight better fighters than Kessler, and his win over Margarito > any win that Kessler has.

but overall I would still say Williams.
