Yes, but when Lewis had off days he lost, whereas when Calzaghe had off days and even when he had minor injuries (his hands were injured in many of his fights), he always found a way to win, in fight after fight. Whatever you think of his style, that's still a considerable achievement.

He showed real class - he's had a very public falling out with Calzaghe, but he still gives the man the respect as a fighter that he thinks he warrants. That's class, whether you agree with his assessment or not.
