you guys must be mixing the demarco fight with the arce one, cuz at no point in that fight did it seem like arce had a chance. Neither does montiel.

although montiel has boxing skills,his power is decent,but he just seems too small,even though he has problems with weight,he still looks small for vic...i would rather him fight vic at 118,vic is the man now,not donaire,donaire didn't impress me that much in the fight with vic until he landed that punch,and hasn't beaten anybody since,thats why everybody wants vic now,more money and he has all those belts..

Vic is akward to fight. Not like mayorga or the prince, he is extremely akward. No matter how much you study him, in real life it will take a few rounds to get in rythym and to get a stradegy going. I honestly thought Arce was doing damage. I really believe that if Arce and Vic would fight again Arce would know how to beat him and KO him by the 6th. I think Arce just ran out of gas and couldn't punch hard in the later rounds. I think the key to beating Vic is going to the body, Did you guys see how Arce folded his ass with them body shots? Montiel is a good fighter with some good punching power, as he has proven.

All it took was for arce to expose his weakness to body shots. Who ever fights Vic next will Win by KO. I would bet my house on it. the list Shaw gave at the end of the fight surprised me..... Because all of those guys would beat VIC, including Montiel.
