I believe Montiel probably did lose to Gorrez, but i also think he beat Jhonny Gonzalez so. I have no problems with Montiel fighting Vic, because i know the little sicko will get his ears boxed off.
Even worse for montiel that a guy who was destroyed and humilated now owns his divison while he is off struggling with the likes of Juan Rosas. If he aint afraid of vic then let him stay and fight so vic can knock him out and take his belt.

You watch Montiel against Gonzalez and then come back and tell me Mjiraes has a better defence and ring generalship. Mijares is a good counter puncher he is not slick than Montiel though.

Montiel has become more aggressive lately thats all.

      Keep dreaming.

I believe Montiel is slicker than Mijares when he Boxes and uses his ring generalship. Do you agree that Montiel is the slicker of the two?

I dont see Mijares beating him.
Well to be fair, I haven't seen the slicker Montiel like the one against Gonzalez and earlier in his career, but as of what I have seen (the one who turned into a puncher), I don't think he is at all.

Mijares was pretty slick against Arce and Munoz. If he's not slick on his feet, he's definitely slick on his upperbody movement. You have to throw awkward ass shots to catch him like Vic did.

If they fight, we can bet it on it.

I'd advise you not to do that. I thought I was getting free points when I pretty much put everything on Mijares against Vic

Yeah no problem Warp hope it comes off, because if nothing else it would be a great fight/ match up.

Mijares looked like he struggled to get to grips with the unorthodoxy of Vic i wouldn't be surprised, if they rematched and Mijares made some slight adjustments and beat his overrated ass down.

Donaire knocked the fool out, and even limited Arce was able to catch him and hurt him.

Mijares finished Arce not Vic.......The truth.

I'm a little conflicted at what weight it should be at. Both are moving up and then they can rework their way into it, but if Montiel moves back down and wins. Why not just fight for all the marbles at 115 instead?

                      If Darchinyan beats Montiel,

                      It's a total MEXICAN MASSACRE!
