again though, there is NO reason to use loaded gloves in sparring.
There is nothing on the line. If you get delt in sparring it doesn't change your record or your upcoming oppertunities at other fights.

I know.. the whole thing is disgusting. Rashad would never make anything up. I've known him for years. He told me right after it happened that he felt like he got hit with bricks. I'm sick over it not only because my friend got seriously hurt, but because it looks like it was intentional. (not intentional in Antonio wanting to hurt Rashad, but intentional in knowing the danger of hurting someone beyond normal sparring)

everyone hits different, some people spar all out, the headgear he was using doesnt cover everything............and while it helps, its hardly a guarantee of finishing a sparring session injury free.......


..im just saying all this speculation iskinda ******, because unless theres a maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaajor fallout on the margarito camp on the day of the hearing, all that can be proved are the events prior to the mosley fight....

For this exact reason. I'm sure he HAS used them in sparring, but I feel like he wouldn't do it often in fear of this exact thing happening. If he used them in sparring all the time and his sparring partners ended up being busted up left and right it would raise a few flags...

I totally agree with you. I would be upset about anyone getting hurt when something illegal was done, but the fact that I'm very good friends with Rashad makes me even more upset. I know Rashad is telling the truth. If nothing else he's down playing all of this because he's a very humble person.
