anyways, its clearly Tsyzu, by a pretty wide margin.
    Well...

you see there are proud Ukrainians, proud Russians, and those in between who find it hard to indentify themeselves due to a lack of culture, ****sovetikus. Or something along the lines of "oh Im half russian half ukrainian and its the same thing"

Povetkin is hard core ruskie, he wouldnt like to be thrown in the same bin as "oh they are all the same", as is Vitaliy, Wlad on the other hand seems a lot more cosmopolitan.

When Wladimir's career is all said and done, he will go down as a more accomplished, greater fighter than Kostya Tszyu.

He would have to go undefeated for another 3-4 years to surpass Tszyu. I think he'll lose before then.

No, he's already accomplished a lot. He has 6 successful IBF title defenses and 7 WBO defenses. He has 46 KOs and 52 wins, including 7 wins over world heavyweight titleholders (Byrd X 2, Peter, Mercer, Ibragimov, Rahman, Brewster).

its strange that the two biggest Soviet fighter fans/fan boys here are Canadian. Whats that about? Oh and Vitali will probably get the vote.

I believe the greatest Eastern European boxer of all time was Laszlo Papp. He was never given the right to fight for a world title though.
