Because Shaw knows what most of us here already know: Donaire will beat Vic again if there was a rematch. I guess the fat swine doesn't wanna get done twice by Nonito.Comment

i really dislike Gary Shaw.... He thinks the fight are about him. Whatever happen to promoters keeping a low profile. He thinks it's about him, and it's not. It's about the fighters. He alway have his face in front of the TV. It should be behind the since. I want to see the rematch between darchinyan and Donaire, but it will not happen because of Gary Shawtime.Comment

Donaire should just realise that he got a lucky punch and shouldnt talk too much crap, Vic is a great boxer but personally shouldnt even bother with Donaire anymore why? His passed that and should just move on to bigger things. Lucky punches in boxing happens and it doesnt mean your bettre than that person look at Rahman and Lewis, the only thing vic will prove against a Donaire rematch is how lucky Donaire was with that punch, but why should Vic go back and reclaim titles his had and lost, his moved up in weight so just move on with bigger fish to fight! Nothing to prove Vic.Comment

If anyone thinks of him as a shallow champ then they're a little clueless. He now has one of the best runs in the sport with this third KO/TKO win. He had a very impressive run before Donaire and afterwards has since been even more impressive in stopping the very fine fighter and champion Kirilov and then disposing of the highly P4P rated Mijares in dominant fashion despite being a massive underdog. With this win over Arce he'll rightfully move into most peoples top ten P4P lists.
Whether he fights Donaire again does not take away from the wins he has had, which are much bigger than beating Donaire on an overall scale. Him beating Doanire will be great if he ever gets the chance, but calling him a shallow champ if he doesn't fight him is absurd. He's just fought a string of the best champs the sport has to offer and beaten them all. Nonetheless, lets hope that Donaire can start racking up some big wins which may then force the fight to happen. Unless he racks up a bunch of big wins against big names then he'll likely stay where he is now and not get the big fight he wants.Comment
