Donaire should just realise that he got a lucky punch and shouldnt talk too much crap, Vic is a great boxer but personally shouldnt even bother with Donaire anymore why? His passed that and should just move on to bigger things. Lucky punches in boxing happens and it doesnt mean your bettre than that person look at Rahman and Lewis, the only thing vic will prove against a Donaire rematch is how lucky Donaire was with that punch, but why should Vic go back and reclaim titles his had and lost, his moved up in weight so just move on with bigger fish to fight! Nothing to prove Vic.
:*******: whatever u say, mate! but u didn't see how nonito peppered vic with those lefthooks. it's one punch allright but certainly not just a "lucky punch". one punch is all it needs to send dar-chin to dreamland. nyahaha... donaire got darchi's numbers allryt. his huge lefthooks will always find their way to vic's face, anytime anywhere. gary shaw is saying that he has a beef with Donaire. truth is, he will lose his golden goose if ever his "crawling bull" figths the Filifino Flash again. NO SIR, NO WAY shaw will let that happen. SHOW OR NO SHOW....NOT EVEN WITH A GUN ON SHAW'S BIG HEAD.that is the real score my friends....CRAWLING = act of moving along the ground on all fours, moving slowly, creeping
some verrrry smart posters here ovbiously think that darchinayn moving up to 122 to fiht the likes of vazquez is less dangerous then fighting nonito, ovbiously what a pusy move on darchinyans part right. Please dont make me laugh. If yall want to hate al least try to make sense in your ***in arguments.

It really makes sense, if you are about to get another beat down, why not do it with more money? Lots and lots of money? That's why they're called "prizefighters" in the first place.
vic has nothing to prove. he has proven himself already!! he proved himself by calling out everybody, even Pacman, except NONITO DONAIRE!! that name must be making darchi's chest hairs tingle. it's like a dog covering his balls with his tail whenever he is threatened.....that is what vic and shaw has proven beyond reasonable doubt.....

It's all about the Benjamins...
well no ****, if your gonna take a risk y not with the likes of vazquez with way more props then fighting nonito. Sure nonito beat vic, but honeslty as of right now he is a nobody. Nonito hasnet done **** excpet beat vic and vic is ranked higher then him in every p4p list and ranking system, so let nonito chase becuz he cant land a meanigful fight if his life depended on it.

I assume you have not seen the whole fight yet. If you have seen the whole fight then I would say that you are the one who is talking crap. It's guys like you that makes a fighter look bad... yes you did make Vic's loss worst than it did. Nonito Donaire was able to connect punches, it connected clean and solid, and Vic was not able to avoid or par Nonito's punches. If those are "lucky punches" that was constantly connecting through the course of the fight, Nonito might as well play the lottery because for sure he will be an instant millionaire that night.
Here's a bonus for you... look at Nonito's eyes while Vic is coming forward with a punch... that is how Nonito has calculated Vic's style of offense.
Base your posts on facts or it will be surely used against you.

Nonito knows that, but do you also understand that Darchinyan is at his peak right now knowing that he is already 33yo. So let's imagine Darchinyan landing fights with Vasquez or Marquez or any of the big names...If he ever win those fights the name Nonito Donaire will still pop-up. And if he loses those fights and then accepted the rematch with Donaire... if he wins people will make excuses that Vic was not the same after he fought Marquez/Vasquez. Darchinyan is haunted by his loss and he needs redemption. It's either fight Nonito or Vic to admit that Nonito is just too good for him... I see the rematch more possible than Vic to admit it.
Vic Darchinyan is a great fighter... in fact he holds the belts.
Those who say that Darchinyan has got nothing to prove... I say you are right if the issue is the championship belt. But Darchinyan needs to prove to himself that he can beat Nonito and maybe it was just Nonito's night.
Anyway, if Shaw doesn't want to give Darchinyan a chance to redeem himself, everytime Darchinyan would stand in the spotlight people will always see Nonito's shadow behind Vic.
[QUOTE=BennyST;4720188]If anyone thinks of him as a shallow champ then they're a little clueless. He now has one of the best runs in the sport with this third KO/TKO win. He had a very impressive run before Donaire and afterwards has since been even more impressive in stopping the very fine fighter and champion Kirilov and then disposing of the highly P4P rated Mijares in dominant fashion despite being a massive underdog. With this win over Arce he'll rightfully move into most peoples top ten P4P lists.
I agree... it's easy for people to say things about a fighter despite his accomplishments. Yes maybe Darchinyan is not the type of guy that is easy to like as he talks to much and people often disagrees in what he says... but that is personal. He must be regarded as a fighter and as for me he is a Great Fighter... a P4P kind of fighter.
If he does not appear in any P4P list there then something's really wrong with boxing.
Shaw not wanting Vic to fight Donaire has nothing to do with been scared of him, It is well known in the boxing circle that Donaire has a very very bad manner who thinks his bigger than he really is.
Donaire would beat Vic again if they do meet but he needs to be brought down to earth but its unfortunate that he chases away the people that wants to do that to him e.g his dad, Donaire would rather chase women in the phillipines than train....his little fame is going to his head and thats going to be his down fall.
