There's only one person off the top of my head that actually has a claim of debunking the "there's always someone out there" fact. And that's only because after he KO'ed this guy in the first round, there wasn't a really good name out there for him to face until the 1990's. Technically he could have retired before the 90's but he was very young. Care to take a guess on who I'm thinking of?

Yes. I couldn't think of any other name for him to fight after Michael Spinks until Bowe, Holyfield, and Lewis became successful HW's. And that came in the 1990's so Tyson didn't have any significant opponents to face in the late 80's'.

Remember Pavlik, hell people's perception on here have changed of him over the last 4/5 months.

You guys don't get it, Calzaghe beats Dawson, Dawson is nothing he was too green. Fight Froch caus he just smashed Jermain Taylor. Calzaghe beats Froch, Froch was a bum, he only had 2 world title fights.

Look at the views on Lacy, when the fight with Calzaghe was supposedly on.

"Lacy by TKO or Decision, hopefully he takes on Beyer or Kessler next and unifies the whole division"

Calzaghe beat Lacy, Kessler beat Beyer, Calzaghe beat Kessler.

                But still nothing.

I'm done with defending Calzaghe on here now guys, you can't and won't change my opinion that he is Britain's Best Ever.

I'm done with it, all further hater comments towards me about Calzaghe will be ignored.

Joe Calzaghe, 46-0-0. A True Boxing Great.

Just be happy your guy retired on top and quit bitchin bro. Damn, you sound just like one of the Floydboys wit their whiny **** homey.

You are one serious nuthugger. Not only do you nick-name yourself after a fraud, erhhmm i mean Joe C. but you only seem to want to discuss him. Like many before you, had Joe C. lost his valuable 0 (which is the single noticeable accomplishment he has ever produced by the way) you would be sure to disappear and proceed to bad mouth the poor fighter calling him a fraud yourself. Joe Calzaghe's lack of credibility or respect has nothing to do with his nationality, skin color and even the fact he's a bad mouth soab. He simply didn't prove himself enough. He had no defining fights and he tried to take the short route to a #1 p4p rank he never achieved because Pacquiao had the audacity to beat Oscar. Otherwise we would have a fraud as p4p 1# fighter. A fighter who is to fight no more. A fighter who took 15 year to move up 7 pounds. A fighter who ruled over a weak division far longer than anyone else cared to (everyone else in similar circumstances was moving up for a better challenge). A fighter who fought his biggest fight against 43 year old Bernard Hopkins, a fight he arguably lost and in which he was dropped in the first round. He later proceeded to again be dropped in the first round by "shot since 03" Roy Jones Jr. This is what people who are just regular fans and not on Joe nuts see when we look at his career. We don't see the dvd, we don't care about his family or amateur career or whatnot, he's just a fighter on the same platform as the rest of them, and in comparison to so many of them Joe doesn't shine so brightly.
