Ruslan Chagaev Retains, Beats Carl Drummond in Germany

The doctor didn’t mind, nor did the eventual victor, but on Saturday night at the Stadthalle in Rostock, Germany, the referee appeared unable to countenance the sight of blood. [details]

      chagaev ******

chagaev looks to have trouble with adversity.he was tenative once he was cut.drummond let him of the hook.any top hw contender would have jumped all over him.I need to watch more of him.I think the klitschkos, haye, peter,Rahman & even my favorite fat tub of lard James toney would have jumped on him & beat him.ruiz should get a rematch too.chagaev is living on borrowed time as WBA chump.now he fights the mongloid valuev(the glorfied everlast punching bag).

CHAGAev is the new Vitali. Always getting hurt.

I hope he doesn't hold up the division. Oh yeah that's right he won't.
WBA likes having two champs for these reasons.

The WBA sucks. They are becoming a joke of a sanctioning organization,

Did you know they take three months to update their monthly rankings (three months behind) while the IBF, IBO and WBO do it in a week or two into the new month (the first half of each month).

heavy is giant pool of **** currently which saddens me everytime I think about it. ITs not just that so many heavyweights are mediocre but that the ones that are semi decent wont fight anyone with a pulse. Its like a division of Felix Sturms only bigger. what a disgrace.

No, there are about twenty good heavyweights in Europe: Wlad, Vitali, Haye, Povetkin, Boytsov, *****ko, Dimitrenko, Pala, Pianeta, etc.

There's only about three or four decent ones in the US, but some of them are in interesting upcoming fights. American Jason Estrada will be fighting Alexander Povetkin on April 4, the Chambers-Peter fight on ESPN Mar 27 is a good matchup, and if Arreola fights Minto on April 11 that'll be another good one.

If Americans Kevin Johnson and Malik Scott ever fight anyone with a pulse, they may or may not turn out to be alright. They shouldn't wait too much longer to try.
