Chagaev Fight & Sheridan's Horrible Bias

Some of the time i don't mind Bob Sheridan but in some fights, especially ones with Euros against Americans jesus christ

I was watching the broadcast on TSN and him and some Hispanic guy (or at least spoke spanish) were so bias it was beyond sad

Sheridan had it a draw and the hispanic guy had Drummond winning 58-56, give me a ****ing break
They also wouldn't shut up about how bad the judges in Germany are (Although the judges were from France,U.K, and panama, and in the Kotelnik fight the judge from Panama had Maiada winning?)

Another example off the top of my head is the Peter-MCcline fight, Peter being King's golden boy and the fight was broadcast on KingTV with sheridan doing PBP

If you remember MCcline wasn't even in any ABC's top 40 then like a week before the fight he was all of a sudden the WBC #9, Peter procceed's to get knockdown 3 times and i think MCcline should of won on points but if you were to listen to Bob he made it seem like peter was ****ing Holmes

The sad thing is that casual type fans can be swayed by commentary and writers will talk about "controversy" that really isn't there and that type of thing can turn some fans off of the sport

I'm sure some articles will talk about the Chagaev "robbery" cuz of this ******

give me a break, Chagaev didnt do piss in that fight either, dont be swayed by the crowd oohhing at missed punches.

I had Chagaev winning, but its not like Chagaev clearly won his rounds anyway. it was basically just Chagaev's weak, unvaried straight left vs Drummonds occasional right hand.

i wasn't saying it was impressive, it was boring

just an example though, i believe in the 4th or 5th Drummond landed 1 good right and Chagaev landed at least 6 straight lefts and a nice hook and that Benny guy gives it to Drummong, wtf?

i want to see Chagaev fight Valuev then feed the winner to one of the Klitschkos, get the WBA mess cleaned up already

Chagaeb was winning but the judge who gave him all six rounds was being favourable to him.

Same here, although I doubt the WBA mess will ever be cleaned up. If Wlad wins their title, they will just create a 'regular' champion anyway.

I remember when it seemed as if Chagaev would be Wlad's biggest challenge. Now Chag is virtually back to square one.

I thought Sheridan and Ricardo did an excellent job on the first three fights, but both sounded like they were rooting for Drumond, and their scores gave Drumond a couple of rounds he didn't really do enough to win. At one point Sheridan even became aware he was rooting for Drumond, and almost apologized for it.

These guys were fair for the most part, however, and are much better than Bernstein, Atlas, and Farhood, who are extremely biased against European boxers.
