um ok. I think I mentioned that Cotto did some things wrong, not clinching and going to the body are part of those things. Shane more than likely studied this fight more so than previous Tony fights because Kermit didnt win a single round against Tony in two fights, Clottey got hurt in his fight, and Shane doesn't have enough similarities to do what Paul did to him.

Are we forgetting Mosley's background fighting in Southern Cal being a bigger reason on why he was able to handle him the way he did? Hmmm?

I doubt that was the case. IMO, it was more of a mental thing. Tony's body language in the Mosley fight was waay different than in the Cotto fight. If Cotto did soft him up, Shane wouldve finished him in 5 or 6 rounds, he was landing bombs at will.

when have you ever seen margarito hurt like that? NEVER! not even against a very hard hitting 10lbs heavier daniel santos at 154 was he hurt. Cotto a very strong puncher never hurt margarito. Paul williams(who is koing 154 and 160 lbs) didn't even hurt margarito. Shane bearly stopped mayorga, who dlh and tito had no problem koing a much younger better mayorga. and now at 37 shane magically got these super powers and koed margarito? It's very obvious margarito wasn't the same margarito jan. 24th. it wasn't shane, I think margarito had alot taken out of him during the cotto fight.

If Mosley never bothered Cotto with his power Cotto would've never took a backward step back in the fight. Margarito is a human punching bag if you don't run from him and can clinch.

Listen, all of that is besides the point even if I disagree and think Cotto was just saying that. Mosley learned more from what Cotto didn't do and his own background fighting Mexican fighters is what brought him to the dance. I'd give Cotto half the credit for Shane's victory if Shane instead of pressuring, body punching, and clinching, just boxed and circled away from Marg...but he didn't even fight him like Cotto did when he was doing good. He did his own thing for the most part.
