Don't underestimate Tito at 160, he fought the best version of Hopkins

I see the point of this thread. Great Joe has realized how piss weak Calzaghe legacy is, and that a 43 year old man is his best win. Now he trying to make it out like Hopkins was in his “prime”

I voted for Calzaghe sucks, he hits like a girl, and his whole career is a fraud either way.

you mean like floyd fans who hype oscar up to be like a prime fighter?

when only a year later he got utterly embaressed by a lightweight and stopped? oscar is as shot as it gets and even then mayweather squeaked a decision and many though oscar won, including mayweather sr.

          2008 Hopkins fights at 175, 2001 at 160, i don't see how it's a fair comparison.

This polls great, Calzaghe nuthuggers vs Calzaghe haters with a few unbiased votes mixed in.

No he would never realize that... Although it's true, Joe's Calzaghe needs all the help he can get to keep his #3 handed to him p4p status. But the truth is i can think and name at least 10 fighters better than Joe who never made it to where he has. 2009's version of Mosley is of them, but where did the destruction of the WW champion, 7 years his junior, in his prime lead Mosley to? #7 p4p or whatever that is. Comes to show how much of a joke these ranks are. We all remember Joe Calzaghe beat a 43 year old Hopkins by SD after being dropped in the first round and immediately jump from #9 or so to #3 and he would be #1 if Pacquiao had lost to Hoya (which kinda was the plan to further glorify this travesty). I don't buy into it

Hopkins of 2001 beats the Hopkins of 2008. 15 65.22%

                    Too much nostalga!

The Hopks that beat Tarver and Pavlik is better than the one that picked on Welterweights. Hops 08 shuts 01 version down.

The 01 version also threw more meaning he is more open to get hit. The 01 version stood 0% chance of beating Calzaghe the 08 version made it semi close.

The Hopkins that beat Pavlik beats all other Hopkins and mostly any other fighter between 160- and 175 IMO.
