Breidis Prescott-John Murray Being Eyed For June

If John Murray is unable to land a fight with countryman Amir Khan, maybe he can fight the man who sparked Khan in 52-seconds last September - Colombian puncher Breidis Prescott. [details]

Eh....it seems Prescott is taking out/on Euro's top lightweights. That's dandy and all, but I'd like him to fight the top 10 guys, not the 11-20 people. Though Yuri Romanov is probably top 10, so I'd like to see that fight.

murray prescott would be a great fight as they can both take heads off with punches and kahn has been ducking the fight so we are told by murrys camp but i think its not kahn that wont fight him its that the fight wont generate frank wanker enough money just yet but if murry beats prescott and kahn beats barrera surly they will have to fight but as for murray prescott i see it either been over in the first or an all out war i for one think it will be a great fight

I do too...but I have a funny feeling that Khan will get beat again. I feel if Khan thought it was all a simple mistake the first time around, then he would have tried to get an immediate rematch; but I think deep down inside, Khan knows he can get KO'd again by this guy...

my god murray would so die.. he was dazed at points by mcallister who cant punch to save his life and has 4 ko's lol.. prescott would put his lights out plain and simple, would be worth watching it just to see murray put on his arse for the first time by a credible opponent.

This would be a good fight but I think Prescott would be too powerful for Murray, Murray has defensive lapses that would lead to him getting hit by Prescott and you don't want to get hit flush by Prescott.

i agree! i lost faith in murray a long time ago- you may have watched a fight that he took in the us? against a mexican journey man called munghia? any how being british i was rooting for my man but it was a joke as i saw with my own eyes that murray lost almost every round and was somhow still given a decision.. the guy was a complete journeyman who was expected to be an easy fight for anyone yet it was too much for murray. the rest of his record is also against absolute patsies who either have more losses then wins or cant punch to save their lives.. hes an accident waiting to happen.

I saw that one and the one against Al Hamidi, he got hit way too much in both fights, Al Hamidi could have arguably won their fight too, his defense is just too loose for him to beat Prescott at this stage.
