His power was below average for a Jr. Lightweight. It was his speed and defense that set him apart.

I'll never forget CARLOS GERENA screaming out in the middle of the ring "No punch" as he ate Mayweather punch after Mayweather power punch.

He never got Manfredy off his feet. He never got Genaro off his feet. He couldn't put a dent in Carlos Rios (a nationally televised fight), he couldn't put a dent in Carlos Hernandez either. ****, he didn't take Jesus Chavez off his feet either.

The Corrales fight was the first fight where Mayweather ever showed a modicum of power...

Oscar outcalssed Tito. Both Oscar and Floyd started their careers at 130 and Floyd is 100x the boxer Oscar is.

Tito's hands were not all that quick and he rarely counterpunched. This is a horrible matchup for Tito.
Agree...I see Mayweather doing a MUCH better job then DLH did the early rounds...this time it'll be untill the 12

              Oscar didn't outclass anything.

But think about. After Gerena started screaming "No Punch" did he come out in the next round. Mayweather put some serious power behind those punches after hear NO PUNCH!

                      Stopped Manfredy in two.

Knocked Corrales down five times and stopped him in ten.
LOL! None of those fighters were counted out. With the exception of Manfredy, they were all stopped by their corners. And in the case of Manfredy, he was stopped by the ref.

I'm sure anyone that witnessed the Manfredy-Mayweather bout remembers the raging Manfredy crying foul all night long.

Like I said, Mayweather was the fastest and baddest mofo the Jr. Lightweight division had seen in some time; however, his power at 130 was well below average.
