Prime Arturo Gatti vs. Prime Diego Corrales at 135

Who do you think would win this? I am a huge Gatti fan, I really don't know who'd win. I'd lean towards Chico though. What an awesome fight this woulda been.

What a war this would have been. **** it, I'm going to be a homer, and pick Chico by late round TKO. Not after he has tasted the canvas a few times himself, though.

Deigo stops Gatti. He was a better boxer, had more power and had just as much heart. I think it would have been entertaining while it lasted, power shots thrown in bunches, but Diego finishes Gatti inside of 8-9 rounds.

I drool at the thought of this fight.

I'm from the Atlantic City area so of course (even though I voted for Diego, I can't make up my mind) I would be rooting for Gatti. Chico probably takes it due to more skill and more power, but I think Prime Gatti's heart is too much for him to get stopped easily. Either Chico UD or a very late ref stoppage.

I think this possibly could have been more one sided than people think. Diego Corrales did beat some world class fighters Arturo Gatti never did, Angel Manfredy beat Arturo Gatti and Diego Corrales dismantled Angel Manfredy.

Why im bringing that up is because that shows you that Arturo Gatti, never beat a world class fighter. where as Diego Corrales did and he proved himself against world class fighters. Diego Corrales was an animal at one time, he had boxing skills and he could hit.

It would of been an exciting war but i honestly think Arturo Gatti, would of been a bit out of his depth here. Diego Corrales by TKO in the 9th, although i can see Diego Corrales getting floored early.

Common opponent Angel Manfredy beat Gatti, on cuts knocked him down during the fight too. Corrales just annihilated Manfredy.

Allthough Chico had what i believe a questionable chin he had too much power for a guy that takes flush hard shots for a living.
