doesnt seem like much wrong with floyds resume to me. there are some quality names on there. add to the fact that floyd was callin out tsyzu, mosely, winky earlier on his career. if them fights would have come off his resume would be very impressive.

He was callin out a prime Oscar as well.

He actually does have some good offense, its just his safety first mindset which brings it down, and that safety first mindset also makes him beatable.

Floyd should throw more, i dont think anyone could beat him if he had that killer instinct. He'd be to accurate and to fast.

for the rankings, i'd have Sweet Pea in the top 50, and as for Pacman and Floyd, their careers arent over yet so i'll rank them later.

Damn thats a great avatar. The only close fight I see on there is Hagler vs. B-Hop. Ray Leonard and Tommy Hearns beats the **** out of De la Hoya and Trinidad respectively.

As for the bold lets not give to much credit for that win. Although, everyone will always remember the Gatti beatdown

I never liked Whitakers styly while he was fighting but he was great and beat some excellent fighters in dominating fashion (Chavez, Nelson, McGirt, Ramirez). I'd probably put him about 20-25.

Manny and Floyd are very close right now. Less than a year ago I was saying Floyd didn't belong in the top 50, but have since re-evaluated that opinion. Both are between 40 and 50 with the possibilty to move up.

im not trying to say he is the "GOAT". im simply saying that he is underated mainly due to his persona. i put the if there for the ppl who think that mayweather has spent his career manouvering around big fights, this isnt the case.

its funny how in retrospect floyds demolition of gatti is overlooked. i remember at the time the experts thought that mayweather wasnt goin to be able to take gatti's punch.
