Seeing as I just read how another boxer, Andre Berto had the Flu during the Collazo fight. I think the CDC needs to investigate the unusually high number of fighters who get the flu. Forget about infants and the elderly. They need to stockpile flu shots for the fighters.

Well you need to be in top physical shape to perform so heavy training diminshes your immune system before building it up.
And weight loss can't help.

Sometimes it's an excuse but I am sure just as many times there's some kind of truth to it.
A highly trained person is acutely aware when they are not at their absolute physical best.
