after giving it some thought i think that the different weight divisions should have one world champion as the champion should be the best fighter at that weight not one of the best holdin a title that not as highly reguarded as the other this is just my personal opinion i would like to know what the rest of you think ???????
should the different weight divisions have only one champion or many ???

This has been discussed on here a lot.
Basically, everyone knows having a single champ in each weight class would be ideal however it will never happen due to the power struggles and ******ity of the current system where we have about 63 different organisations sanctioning "world title" fights and refusing to cooperate with each other.Comment

i fully agree tho some might argue that the titles available at the moment give other top class boxers a shot at a title as there seems to be a lot of ducking in the boxing game today and like ppl say certain fighters avoid others to hold onto titles longer or have hand picked fights for the same reasonComment

they should also make a rule that the champ only can fight someone in the top 5 of that weight class. that will eliminate alot of talking bout who can beat who. they wont have a choice but to fight.
all fights should be 60/40 to the winner. that will eliminate all the bitching bout the purse split.Comment

i agree with the top 5 getting the shot and if the #1 loses they should move #2 up 2 first spot so to keep it competative and making contenders work for there shotComment
