Margarito lost because most people bought the hype (including myself, disowned him after it was revealed he was a cheating ****).

Margarito lost because he was a come forward fighter, no speed, no defense whatsoever. He has no survival instinct, therefore when Mosley hurt him he did not know what to do. Most fighters tries to buy some time, clinching. Margarito, he just didn't do anything, still kept his hands low, getting tagged constantly. Plus, for a gifted fighter like Mosley who has fought every style imaginable, Margarito was sworn to be an easy target. I just didn't think he had anything left in the tank after the Mayorga fight and suprised the hell out of me with his destruction of Margarito.
